Short directed by Pernille Lund.
Fault Lines follows the couple Sofia and Eduardo who are seeking shelter from the rain in a botanical garden, when an earthquake hits. They have very different memories of what happens next. The story is depicted from Sophia’s and Edoardo’s perspectives respectively, resulting in vastly different scenarios.
Filmed during Terre di Cinema, Cinecampus 2023 on 35 mm film.
Had to create the complete soundscape of an earthquake without any visual effects to accompany the sound – only visual cues in the acting and camera movements. Very hard, interesting and fun assignment! Also had the pleasure of working with Søren Valurs beautiful musical score.
