I recorded 34 piano voices and played them through 184 speakers at my campus.
The five floors of UC Syd Kolding are equipped with a 34-channel Spacemap GO system, for which I made the piece.
Since every voice has a fixed position, as you walk through the building, you create your own composition depending on where you turn and position yourself.
The piece is 4 mins and is slowly increased in volume over time (starts out VERY quiet.)
After 3 mins all 34 voices shift location at exactly the same time resulting in the whole piece being physically mirrored.
